The 24-year-old dancer and the 23-year-old videographer do not hide their love story, and regularly feature themselves on social networks or in video, on YouTube and on Twitch.
However, for several days, a video extract has been stirring up X (formerly Twitter). We discover a discussion between the couple about their future, and the comments made by the young woman are not to the taste of all Internet users. And especially men.
At 24, Elsa Bois doesn’t see herself becoming a mother right away
In the video in question, several extracts of which have been shared on social networks, Michou welcomes his new life, and affirms: “I am able to find more time for myself now, with the organization, and I say to myself that I can become a good dad.” To which the young woman responds frankly: “I don’t see the connection with me.” When her partner points out that he doesn’t think she’ll want to have children right away, she confirms with a resounding “Ah, no.”
The discussion could have ended there, but Internet users quickly got involved. And for many of them, the young dancer’s response is simply shameful. “He should leave her immediately, she doesn’t respect him”, we can read on X. “If she doesn’t want a child with him now, she will never want one”, “She is only here for Michou’s fame, not to make a life with him”, “He knew what he was getting into with a girl who leaves one guy for another”, say other Internet users.

In reality, the video which is circulating on social networks has been cleverly cut, because the discussion between the two lovers is much deeper: “I think I am more ready than you”, affirms Michou, before specifying: “You, you have to wear it, child, it’s super complicated and it will change your whole daily life.” Proof that he absolutely does not blame his partner for not being ready to have a child.
At present, the main stakeholders have not reacted to the numerous criticisms aimed at the dancer. Fortunately, Elsa Bois was able to count on the immediate support of many feminist accounts, which came to her defense. “Elsa’s reaction is logical: ultra young, her body is clearly her work tool, she thinks about her career, and you don’t approach such a subject like that in full live, and a woman has the right to not wanting children”, we can read in particular.
Others point out that as Elsa Bois is a professional dancer, her body is her work tool, and that a pregnancy will inevitably have an impact on her career.
