The Cernuschi Museum – Museum of Asian Arts of the City of Paris is opening its doors to us this Saturday, May 18, 2024, for a free evening organized on the occasion of the 20th edition of Museum Night. We reveal the program that is being prepared!

There Museum Night returns every year in mid-May, for a unique and very special evening: during this unmissable event, museums, institutions, foundations and artists’ houses strive to offer visitors an exceptional artistic and cultural experience. This event allows the public to take a new look at the collections of young and old museums of Paris and Île-de-France.

Some organize special guided tours, others shows, still others activities for children, games or concerts… You will have understood, during this unusual night, even the museums and the monuments that you know by heart may surprise you.

SATURDAY May 18, 2024for the 20th edition of Museum Night, we head to Cernuschi museum to (re)discover the treasures of Asian arts. Ancient objects, sculptures, paintings, bronzes and ceramics, prints or drawings: great civilizations are revealed through these exceptional works.

THE Cernuschi museum awaits us for a special evening, in the heart of 8th district. Without further ado, here is the program for this Museum Night in detail. Remember to arrive at the museum early to make sure you can enjoy each activity!

  • Introduction to qi gong and flash visits to permanent collections

    Introduction to qi gong in the Buddha room with the team of Dr. Bingkai Liu, medical researcher and head of the Integrated Center for Chinese Medicine at Pitié-Salpêtrière, AP-HP, Sorbonne University. Qigong is a traditional Chinese martial art based on the practice of breathing combined with slow movements, stimulating concentration.

    Restitution of the Artistic and Cultural Education project “The animated Seine” with students from the Lycée Léon Blum in Créteil (94) and artists from the Feibai Institute. Discover a journey around the landscape in ink.
