The Bois de Boulogne was once again the scene of a sordid attack. Three weeks after the murder of 19-year-old Philippine, a young woman of the same age filed a complaint for attempted rape. According to a police source, the events took place on Monday, around 5:45 p.m. The victim was jogging on Boulevard Maurice-Barrès, in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine) when a man grabbed her by the collar of her sweater and slammed her against a tree.
According to her testimony, her attacker, aged 40 to 50, told her that he “wanted” her while he tried to take off her shorts. The young woman defended herself. Slightly injured in the cheek, she managed to punch him in the lower abdomen and flee.
Contacted by 20 Minutesthe Nanterre public prosecutor’s office indicates that it has withdrawn from the facts. The Paris prosecutor’s office, which received the file, confirms to us that a complaint “was filed on October 14 at the end of the afternoon at the Neuilly-sur-Seine police station, by a woman born in June 2005, denouncing having “was attacked in the Bois de Boulogne, and physically struggled to escape.”
