The manufacturer is today unveiling the FS42 fixed scanner and the 3D sensors from the 3S range.
The FS42 fixed industrial scanner from Zebra Technologies is equipped with an AI accelerator (or NPU for Neural Processing Unit) to gain performance when running processing tools. deep learning driven by AI. The FS42 will also feature Zebra Aurora Focus for rapid configuration and deployment.
The 3S Series’ high-resolution, high-speed 3D sensors are plug-and-play and powered over Ethernet (PoE). They are optimized using Zebra’s Aurora Design Assistant or Aurora Vision Studio software to accelerate the development and configuration of 3D vision applications. Kits equipped with Zebra’s 4Sight Series EV7 vision controller will also be available for multi-camera machine vision and deep learning at the factory.
The 3S series sensors support a wide range of applications in the industrial and logistics sectors: inspection of the surface of electric vehicle batteries, inspection of automotive parts, measurement of angles in 3D when post-assembly inspection, volume measurement, box sizing and object sizing for logistics operations. As part of an order picking solution, the 3S range covers logistics palletizing and depalletizing, bin picking and robotic order picking for automotive assembly lines.
