Claudia Tagbo and her coffins are coming to your screens soon. The actress will play the role of a funeral director in “RIP, aime-nous vivants”, a new fiction that TF1 is airing on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

For the moment, the comedy-drama “RIP” is announced as a series pilot in two 45-minute episodes. When channels want to launch a new concept, they often broadcast one or two episodes on a pilot evening before validating the broadcast of other episodes. This was particularly the case with “Replacement” on TF1 or “Astrid et Raphaëlle” on France 2.

“RIP” is a series written by Varante Soudjian (director and screenwriter of the films “Inséparables” and “La Traversée” with Alban Ivanov), and Thomas Pone. The TV movie is directed by Frédéric Berthe, also behind the first season of “Mademoiselle Holmes” on TF1, “Les Randonneuses” on the same channel and “L’homme de nos vies” on M6. For La Une, he will also be the director of a future series, “Erica”, with Julie de Bona.

But also Marie-Hélène Lentini, Arnaud Binard (“Alice Nevers” and soon “Brocéliande”), Ornella Fleury (“Benoît Gênant Officiel”, the TMC series with Artus), Guy Lecluyse and Claire Borotra (“Face à face”) ” on France 3).

Flore Bonaventura, Arthur Choisnet, Janis Abrikh (Joachim Guéraud in “Ici tout commence”), Samuel Djian (also known as Samuel Bambi, Enzo in “Terminal” on Canal+) and Philippe Lellouche (who will offer a new version of “Que le meilleur gagne” on M6) complete the cast.

In this production by Alef Two, Claudia Tagbo plays Anne-Lise, whose life is turned upside down when her father leaves her the management of his funeral company upon his death, even though she had done everything she could to distance herself from it. A single mother, she finally develops a taste for it because it allows her to satisfy her unhealthy need to interfere in the lives of others.
