Released in our theaters on June 19, Kelsey Mann’s film takes place after the events of the first film. Riley is now a teenager, which is not without triggering a major upheaval within the headquarters which must face something unexpected: the arrival of new emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust – which have long worked successfully – do not really know how to react when Anxiety arrives. And it seems that she is not the only one…
When Anxiety, Embarrassment, Boredom and Envy arrive, the old emotions Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger are expelled from the control room of Riley’s mind and are locked in a vault. There, they encounter elements repressed in Riley’s psyche: her favorite childhood cartoon character, Lance Slashblade, a video game character Riley was secretly in love with, but also the young girl’s biggest secret…

What is Riley’s darkest secret?
The latter takes the form of a gigantic monster wrapped in a hooded tunic. While emotions escape from the safe and release secrets, the latter prefers to stay hidden in the safe and even closes the door behind him. The spectators who did not stay until the end therefore ignore everything about Riley’s famous unspeakable secret… What is it?
At the very end of the credits, Joy returns to the safe and asks the character what this dark secret is. The latter therefore confesses his sin… One day, Riley burned and made a hole in the carpet. A secret that makes Joy laugh who specifies that she thought it was the time Riley had peed in the pool… A statement that seems to scare the character who finally prefers to return to lock himself in the safe.
Nothing too bad, but it can – in the mind of a child or a teenager – take on great proportions. Vice-Versa 2 is currently in theaters.
