Since its launch, M6+ has offered a selection of series in full for free. This is the case of a program broadcast between 2014 and 2017 in the United States which promises to slap you in the face.

The arrival of M6’s new generation streaming platform gives us the opportunity to discover series that went unnoticed in France when they were released. This is the case of Kingdom. Released in 2014 in the United States, the series which ended in 2017 is available in its entirety on M6+. Three seasons, 40 episodes of muscles and fights accessible to all! We owe this series to the screenwriter Byron Balasco, who had previously worked on the scripts of FBI: Missing. In Kingdomhe introduces us to the world of Alvey Kulina, manager of a gym and martial arts training center in California. With his partner, Lisa, he helps his clients train, especially to perform impressive fights. His sons, Nate and Jay, are among the people who train the most.

In Kingdommartial arts and combat are at the center of the game

Inside the gym called Navy St. Gym, each fighter must also face their own demons. Drug addiction, family problems or personal secrets, everything is there. Ryan Wheeler is one of those who has a revenge to take on life. After his release from prison, he lets himself be convinced by Alvey to return to fight at Navy St. Gym, despite Lisa’s reluctance. A good way to advertise the gym that could also bring its share of worries. To enhance this series, the producers were able to count on a big cast. Frank Grillo, known for his role as Brock Rumlow / Crossbones in the Marvel films, plays Alvey. Matt Lauria, who started in the sitcom 30 Rock before bursting the screen in Parenthoodlends his features to Ryan Wheeler. Big surprise also with the presence of Nick Jonas in the role of Nate.

Not to be confused with the others Kingdom

On Rotten Tomatoes, Kingdom is 97% recommended by viewers. A note that should convince you to rush to M6+ to discover it. Be careful not to start another series with the same name. The British Simon Wheeler and Alan Whiting had already created a series entitled Kingdom in 2007. No fighting here, but a lawyer from a small English town who helps his clients defend themselves in court while searching for his missing half-brother. In 2019, a South Korean series available on Netflix also chose this name to talk about a mysterious epidemic that turns people into zombies in the 17th century.
