This Sunday evening, June 30, TF1 came out on top in the audience ratings by offering an election evening devoted to the results of the first round of the legislative elections at first. Between 7:59 p.m. and 9:38 p.m., 5,59 millions viewers followed the evening presented by Anne-Claire Coudray and Gilles Bouleau, i.e. 22,4% of the public aged 4 and over and 30,5% FRDA-50s. The results and reactions of the various candidates were followed at 9:45 p.m. by a film, “Les Bronzés 3: amis pour la vie”. 2,16 millions of viewers watched the adventures of the Splendid troupe, which represents 12% of the public present in front of their television and 14,8% FRDA-50. On June 9, for the results of the European elections, the first channel had also divided its evening into two parts. The first, devoted to the vote, had brought together 6.38 million viewers between 7:58 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (27.8% of the public and 30.6% of FRDA-50). The second, a football match whose broadcast had been shifted for the occasion, pitting the Blues against Canada, had captivated 4.42 million viewers (22.8% of 4+ and 22.8% of FRDA-50 between 9:31 p.m. and 11:22 p.m.).

France 2 very close to TF1
France 2 came in second with its election evening dedicated to the first round of the legislative elections, hosted by Anne-Sophie Lapix and Laurent Delahousse. 5,17 millions viewers followed the first part, from 7:53 p.m. to 9:47 p.m., which represents 21,1% of the public aged 4 and over and 18,1% on the target of women responsible for purchasing aged under 50 (FRDA-50). The second part of the program, broadcast from 9:47 p.m. to 10:38 p.m., included 3,23 millions of viewers either 15,2% of the public and 15,2% on the FRDA-50 target.
During the European elections on 9 June, the public service channel’s election night attracted 4.19 million viewers between 7:42 pm and 9:31 pm (18.6% of individuals aged four and over and 13.5% of FRDA-50s). The rest of the programme attracted 2.88 million viewers between 9:31 pm and 10:56 pm (13.9% of the public and 10.1% of FRDA-50s).
The Euro ahead of France 3’s election evening
M6 comes in third place on the podium by offering a Euro 2024 match. The round of 16 match between Spain, one of the competition’s favourites, and Georgia captivated 3,65 millions of viewers either 16,5% of the public aged 4 and over and 17,1% of FRDA-50. On Wednesday, June 26, Channel Six came out on top in audience ratings thanks to the broadcast of the match between Portugal and Georgia. The defeat of Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates (2-0) was followed by 3.74 million fans (19.8% of the public and 22.1% of FRDA-50).
Finally, France 3, which also offered an election evening devoted to the results of the first round of the legislative elections, came in 4th place. 1,63 million viewers followed the scores, reactions, and analyses on set, which is equivalent to 7,1% of the public and 4,4% FRDA-50.
