Free? A theme in the form of interrogation, of questioning in the face of the upheavals of the world.
An exhibition by the artist collective Le Marronnier, and women artists from the Dortmunder Gruppe
We are currently experiencing, and have been for several years, significant societal changes, crises of various natures that are causing significant changes at the global level. Despite the progress that humanity is experiencing on a number of subjects, the freedoms to which we are so attached are undergoing a regression at the international level and must be defended more than ever. In this context, what vision do we have of freedom today? The artists of the collective have invited female artists from the Dortmunder Gruppe to work on this theme, and together, we will propose our vision of freedom within the exhibition. Dealing with this subject within the former Carmelite monastery is also very symbolic in view of the initial vocation of the place. This doubly collective work will be an opportunity for beautiful and rich exchanges between artists, but also and above all with the public!
