A man suspected of having killed another in Rennes in a district known for harboring drug trafficking was arrested in Marseille and should be arraigned this Monday.

“He will be brought to the courthouse today”added the magistrate. Thursday evening, a man was hit with a bladed weapon in the chest before succumbing to his injuries in the Blosne district, in the south of Rennes, in a place known for drug trafficking.
An investigation was opened for murder and entrusted to the Organized and Specialized Crime Division of the national police (DCOS). This is the fourth death by stabbing in Rennes since September.
