Official renders of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Plus, allegedly from a case maker, have been leaked. According to these images, the design of these high-end smartphones will see some changes. This range is one of the most anticipated launches at the beginning of 2025. Samsung has confirmed the presentation date of its next flagships.
Thanks to case maker Spigen (via Gizmochina), new images reveal the supposed blue variants of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25+ protected by transparent cases. These renders not only reveal the design of the smartphones, but also confirm the integration of ring-shaped wireless charging technology.
Galaxy S25 Ultra: subtle but noticeable changes
The Galaxy S25 Ultra would be distinguished by slightly square corners, unlike the sharp edges of its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra (test). Another notable difference is a thinner bezel surrounding the screen, potentially due to a new chassis design. The volume buttons and side key retain their top-right position, as on previous models.

On the back, the design remains familiar with three large vertically aligned floating photo module lenses, complemented by two smaller rings and an LED flash. The Ultra variant is distinguished by a lighter shade of blue, suggesting the use of different materials compared to the Plus model.
Galaxy S25 Plus: A familiar look
The Galaxy S25+ remains almost identical to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24+ (test). It retains uniform borders as well as the vertical arrangement of the three photo lenses on the back. Like the Ultra version, it includes a ring-shaped magnet on the back for wireless charging. On the other hand, the standard model of the Galaxy S25 should not benefit from major updates in terms of design.

The Galaxy S25 lineup is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, along with increased memory for some variants. Although major photo module updates are not planned for the entire range, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could benefit from specific improvements.
These smartphones are expected to come with One UI 7, Samsung’s version based on Android 15, and introduce a new suite of Galaxy AI features. Among these new features, Samsung could launch an AI-powered call summary, capable of supporting more languages, unlike the Pixel version, which is currently limited to English.
Galaxy Unpacked 2025: What to expect
Samsung has officially announced that Galaxy Unpacked will take place on January 22, 2025 in San Jose, California. The event will be broadcast live on Samsung’s platforms, including YouTube. Aside from the Galaxy S25 range, Samsung is expected to preview the Galaxy Ring 2 and the highly anticipated Galaxy XR.
Samsung is offering pre-registration vouchers in select regions to encourage users to register for the event, providing an added incentive for early buyers.
