Before discovering the red carpet of this 82nd Golden Globes ceremony, which is being held on the night of January 5 to 6 in Los Angeles, we take a look back at the best looks of the stars during previous editions.
Since its creation in 1944, the annual Golden Globes ceremony has become a resolutely chic and unmissable fashion event, where Hollywood glamor is celebrated with pomp. Here are the most breathtaking, creative and unforgettable outfits, which have marked the history of this high mass dedicated to cinema.

Sublime dresses, a suit and tie and lots of sequins
Among the looks, which have spanned eight decades of the Golden Globes, we think in particular of Julia Roberts in a mouse gray suit and tie, oversize ultra chic option, next to Audrey Hepburn in a champagne-colored silk evening dress during the 47th edition, or to Angelina Jolie, who in 1999, jumped for joy in the swimming pool of the Beverly Hilton hotel dressed in her crystal-embroidered sheath dress by Versace.
We also find stylish and moving nods like Sarah Jessica Parker’s immaculate dress, signed Vera Wang, and her braided crown in homage to Carrie Fisher’s iconic hairstyle in the Star Wars saga and the bohemian-chic silhouette of Salma Hayek, a strapless Gucci dress inspired by the Roaring Twenties with its many shiny fringes.
More recently, we also remember Lady Gaga, who dazzled the fashion world six years ago with her sumptuous lilac dress with an XXL train, designed by Valentino haute couture, matching her light blue hairstyle, as well as Rosamund Pike, the last year, in her Dior dress in jet black embroidered lace accessorized with a speckled mesh veil, with a decidedly dramatic look.
