Already at the origin of one of the most famous connected rings on the market with its Ring Air, the Indian brand Ultrahuman is taking the second step. During CES which takes place this week in Las Vegas, the manufacturer unveiled a new connected ring… luxurious to say the least.

Ultrahuman Ring Air review: a connected ring with brilliant health advice

This Ultrahuman Rare ring is positioned as a connected ring oriented towards luxury, style and design, while retaining the health data that made the first generation successful.

Concretely, the new ring is capable, like the Ultrahuman Ring Air, of measuring movements, heart rate, heart rate variability, stress, blood oxygen level, sleep and skin temperature.

But where the Ultrahuman Rare goes further is in the design, finishes and materials. Indeed, instead of the titanium coating offered on the firm’s first ring, the Rare uses gold or platinum. Three colors are offered:

  • Desert Rose : or rose 18 carats
  • Dune : or 18 carats
  • Desert Snow : platine PT950

If the format of the rings remains similar to that of the Ultrahuman Ring Air, with a rather large size, the coating is not smooth and shiny as was the case with the more general public version. Thus, the three versions of the Ultrahuman Rare present slightly striated, more original textures.

A luxury ring at a luxurious price

The Ultrahuman Rare ring will be available starting mid-January. For its launch, Ultrahuman will open two points of sale, at Printemps in and at Selfridges in London.

The Ultrahuman Rare ring will be offered at a price ranging from 1500 to 1800 pounds, or 1800 to 2200 euros.

Finally, Ultrahuman announces that all Rare ring buyers will be entitled to unlimited access to the UltrahumanX subscription providing access to insurance against theft or damage. Ultrahuman PowerPlugs extensions — including atrial fibrillation detection — will also be offered.
