Giordano Fonte is a famous Neapolitan writer who returns to his city after many years where he announces that he will stop writing. Caracas is a man who doesn’t like half measures, is active in a violent far-right group and is on the verge of converting to Islam.

Emma and the Black Jaguar (2024 film) – release date June 18

Emma is a teenager who grew up in the Amazon with environmentalist parents. After her mother’s death, she lived in New York with her father. When she learns that the black jaguar she grew up with is now at risk of being captured by poachers as a rare species, she makes an excuse and leaves. She is followed by her biology teacher who has multiple fears and would like to bring her back.

Federer: The Last 12 Days (documentary) – release date June 20

Directed by Oscar-winning director Asif Kapadia and co-director Joe Sabia, the documentary intimately follows the final 12 days of Roger Federer’s illustrious career. Born as a home video not intended for the public, the film shows Federer at his most vulnerable and heartfelt, as he bids farewell to a sport and the fans who have shaped his life over the past two decades. Enriched with interviews with legendary rivals and close friends Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, Federer’s documentary offers unprecedented access to the relationship between these unprecedented stars.

Maschile Plural (Italia exclusive film) – release date June 20

Three years after the death of Denis, the friend who brought them together, Antonio and Luca cross paths again. Antonio became a successful pastry chef and workaholic. Luca instead met Tancredi, operator of a family home for LGBTQ+ young people, who helped him overcome a complex phase in his life. When the two meet again, Antonio – whose love life is struggling to take off – realizes that he feels something important for Luca and suggests that together they take over the family bakery that his friend was forced to sell. An adventure whose final goal is the (re)conquest of Luca. Even though Cristina, his longtime friend, is skeptical, Antonio tries to sabotage Luca’s relationship, convinced that the past has come back to help them. Will it really be like this? Or is it just an illusion?
