Selim Amallah delivered a remarkable performance with his team, Real Valladolid, but was unable to avoid elimination in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey against the Orense team, who play in the Spanish third division. The match ended with a defeat for Valladolid with a score of 3-2.
Valladolid opened the scoring in the 15th minute thanks to Raúl Moro, served by an assist from Selim Amallah. Orense quickly responded with an equalizer from Jairo Noriega Figueroa two minutes later. Amallah stood out again by scoring Valladolid’s second goal in the 24th minute.
However, Orense did not give up and equalized in the 32nd minute through Jairen Marcolino Ramos. The home side then took the lead early in the second half, with a goal from Ángel Sánchez in the 52nd minute, sealing their qualification for the round of 16.
