After Westerlo, it’s the turn of a foreign club to come in the news for Yari Verschaeren – The latest transfers

Yari Verschaeren is in a funny situation at Anderlecht. He could get his playing time elsewhere in the coming weeks.

Despite the rotation established by David Hubert, the new look Anderlecht was built without Yari Verscharen in its starting eleven. At the height of Sporting’s rise, the number ten started six games in a row on the bench.

Mario Stroeykens’ injury, however, changed the situation: Verschaeren regained his starting status and even his sense of goal, with two magnificent achievements in the Europa League and in the championship.

Stroeykens will not be back for the restart, so Yari Verschaeren should still get his chance in the coming weeks. The Mauves playmaker has, however, been on the move for some time.

A second part of the season full of questions

After the interest from Westerlo reported a good week ago, it is now…Turkey which is being discussed. According to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Trabzonspor is also interested in relaunching it this winter.

It remains to be seen what Anderlecht’s plan will be for the player who once brought so much hope to Brussels supporters. And also what will be the ambitions of the main interested party: will he want to play under the colors of another Pro League club? Will he agree to join Denis Dragus and Cihan Canak in Türkiye? Trabzonspor is having a very difficult season, the team is only fourteenth in the Süper Lig.
