Injured in the hand during the Christmas holidays and absent from the first tournament of the season in Hawaii last week, Scottie Scheffler, who announced his return for the American Express (January 16-19), is extending his convalescence. The Texan now hopes to be restored for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the second Signature Event of the season, scheduled for January 30-February 2.

By means of a message via his account Instagram, Scottie Scheffler thus put an end this Monday, January 6 to speculation surrounding his return to competition.

The world No. 1 injured his right hand while preparing Christmas dinner, forcing him to withdraw from the Sentrythe opening tournament of the season PGA Tour. Blake Smithhis manager, announced in a press release published on December 27 a recovery time of three to four weeks. Obviously this will take a little longer than expected.
