Last night, the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles hosted the Golden Globes ceremony for the 82nd time. For this sumptuous occasion, the stars dressed to the nines. If some stars surprised the web with their daring cut – hello Emma Stone – others opted for a more classic look. So which stars shined on the red carpet? Here are the most beautiful outfits of the evening!
Gold, the star of the evening
Stars including Mindy Kaling, Cate Blanchett, Kristen Bell and Mikey Madison walked the Golden Globes red carpet in gold outfits. Gold was definitely one of the trends of the evening. This latest edition was marked by a cascade of gold and black. But don’t expect classic or boring looks: Sarah Paulson opted for black feathers, Miley Cyrus, as usual, opted for a sexy side and Nava Mau opted for a semi-transparent asymmetrical dress by Versace.
The luxury houses Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga shone during the ceremony. Several muses have honored these two houses: Nicole Kidman, Michelle Yeoh and Kerry Washington worked with Demna Gvasalia (Balenciaga) while Louis Vuitton teamed up with Emma Stone, Cynthia Erivo and Zendaya.

Ayo Edebiri at Loewe was another highlight of the evening. The loose gray suit with a gold feather tie seemed to be a subtle nod to the iconic suit Julia Roberts wore to the Golden Globes in 1990. Kate Winslet also opted for a pantsuit instead of a gala dress – a choice that we fully approve of.
