After suffering a 4-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, the Montreal Canadiens can thank the St. Louis Blues and the Florida Panthers for allowing him to remain at the heart of the “mix” on Friday night.

This means that with tonight’s results, the Canadian remains three points behind the Senators and the last place giving access to the playoffs. He finds himself the same distance from the Penguins, but with two more games to go.
