After Alice Isaaz, Mounia Meddour and Pierre Deladonchamps, the Carcassonne international political film festival, which will take place from January 16 to 20, has just revealed the names of the last two members of the Fiction jury.
First, the actress Anne Consigny who left her mark on French cinema with numerous roles, notably in the film I am not there to be loved, in which her role as Fanfan earned her a César nomination in the Best Actress category, but also in Diving Bell and Butterfly. She has also played in several series such as Les Revenants, from 2012 to 2015, and since 2018 in Hippocrate where she plays Muriel Wagner, head of the intensive care unit at Raymond-Poincaré hospital. A journey which demonstrates, according to the FIFP organization, a constant commitment to human and social stories.
Finally, the last member announced is Christophe Rossignon, a committed producer behind films like La Haine, by Mathieu Kassovitz with Vincent Cassel, or En guerre, by Stéphane Brizé with Vincent Lindo, two feature films which question social injustices. Christophe Rossignon is the founder of the production company Nord Ouest films and defends impactful cinema.
These five figures of cinema will bring their diverse perspectives and expertise, in order to award the Grand Prize for Best Fiction Feature Film and the Special Mention of the Fiction Jury during the upcoming edition of the FIFP.
