The second edition of the Cyclotour will be held tomorrow, Sunday June 30, departing from the Barjouville car park, in partnership with E.Leclerc, C’Chartres Cyclisme and Republican Echo.

The E.Leclerc of Barjouville, the C’Chartres Cyclisme Club and Republican Echo are joining forces this year as part of the second edition of the Cyclotour.

New this year, the bike ride is for the benefit of the association of the cardiology department of Chartres France PCI hospitals, which fights against heart diseases.

Three routes offered

An important gesture for the E.Leclerc brand, for whom, “it is important to be able to help associations,” says Laura Scemama, the communications manager of the shopping center.

Three routes are offered, 25, 50 and 75 km with delayed starts, at 8:30 a.m. (75 km), 9 a.m. (50 km) and 9:30 a.m. (25 km).

Departing from Leclerc de Barjouville, the routes join Ver-les-Chartres then take the Eure valley towards Saint-Georges-sur-Eure, Courville-sur-Eure or Le Thieulin for the longest loop.

In terms of entertainment, coffee will be offered at 8 am at the start for cyclists, as well as refreshments on the different courses. A raffle is also included in the participation fee which amounts to €3 per participant. The draw will be held around 12 pm, with a women’s bike, a men’s bike and a child’s bike to be won.

Payment is made on site with the delivery of a t-shirt (size of your choice) and the raffle ticket. In total, 400 to 500 cyclists are expected this Sunday for this second edition under the associative banner.
