Building on the success of previous editions, the WateRugby organized by Eden Park is back for a 6th year. “Eau’l Stars” and novices will liven up the weekend from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 July.

More than 1,100 participants are expected at the edge of the Daurade port between July 4 and 7, whether they are professionals or not, students or active and able-bodied or not for WateRugby. In addition to the floating field installed on the Garonne, a real village will be installed at the level of the Daurade quay as well as a stage.

Throughout these 4 days of sport and fun, various activities are planned, starting with the mustache competition this Thursday 4th at 4pm as well as the student tournament from 10am to 9:10pm. Friday and Saturday it is the turn of wheelchair rugby 7 to be highlighted thanks to exhibitions on the floating field. For its part, the village is not left out with among others the Mêlée des chefs on Saturday and Sunday. Also note that the stage will broadcast the match of the French Team on Friday 5th July in the event of qualification for the quarter-finals of the Euro, otherwise, the Rockaway group will perform.

In addition to all these activities, spectators will be able to see former great names in rugby such as the founder of WateRugby Yann Delaigue, Émile Ntamack, Jessy Trémoulière, Vincent Clerc, Julie Annery, the Armitage brothers and Fanny Horta.

This year more than ever, the WateRugby organization is invested in the ecological transition. This is why the Rugby French Flair and Green World Team associations will both be present in the village to raise awareness among rugby fans.
