Who is he ?
This 20-year-old player, at Villareal in the Spanish league, was trained at the FC Barcelona masia. He is a wrong-footed right winger and he is left-handed but plays with both feet despite everything. He is under contract until 2026 and plays for the Moroccan selection, despite several selections with the Spanish hopefuls.

A compatible De Zerbi player?
Our colleague Judge Zhouri (@Z_hakos) offered us this good transfer window: “Very technical and fast, he is capable of making a difference with the ball. Where he would be interesting for the game played by De Zerbi is in his ability to play quickly towards a teammate without carrying the ball excessively, while knowing how to take risks in the offensive phases to create a gap or an opportunity to aim. Ilias knows how to put himself at the service of the collective, the player is very mobile and in this sense makes himself available to his teammates to circulate the ball quickly to also create a gap through the pass or through the space created. In the physical aspect he is a young player still in the making and in this sense De Zerbi could more easily shape him and at 20 years old he has a lot of room for improvement. The player is under contract for another 2 years and valued at €15M he could leave for less but I think that even at this price for a young person of his age with his potential it is rather correct knowing that he already has experience in the league and the Europa League. He recently played his first minutes of play with the Morocco A selection where the game somewhat resembles that of De Zerbi in the use of the ball, rapid transitions and play without the ball to create space and movement. »
A former Barcelona player
