Rail traffic is slowing down. After the passage of storm Caetano yesterday, many roads are blocked by branches and trees. In Limousin, trains have been paralyzed at the station since Friday morning. Some are up to six hours late.

Since five o'clock in the morning, maintenance workers have been working to restore the tracks. Traffic resumed, very slowly, around 3 p.m., but remains very disrupted, particularly on the -Orléans-- line. Traffic between and Limoges is only possible on one lane.

At Limoges station, the Intercités arriving from Paris which then goes to Brive should have arrived at 10:56 a.m. Finally, it should not be there before 4:56 p.m., announces the SNCF on its website updated live. Another example, near Brive: the train scheduled for Toulouse at 1:01 p.m. will ultimately not leave until 6:41 p.m.

Deletions are expected until the end of the day. The SNCF recommends that users postpone their journey when they can.
