On the French team’s X account (formerly Twitter), photos of the Blues’ training on Friday were shared. On one of them, we see Kylian Mbappé with a new mask, tighter than the previous one.

Kylian Mbappé’s mask, a real soap opera of this Euro 2024 since the nose injury of the captain of the Blues against Austria. Several masks have been seen on the face of the French striker and, this Saturday, a publication of the French team on its X account (formerly Twitter) showed that he had a different mask from the one he wore against Poland.

A mask that is more closely attached to the face

If the mask worn by Mbappé against Poland was already adapted to his face, the shape was different, allowing more air to pass through. During training this Thursday, the captain of the France team seemed embarrassed by this mask at certain moments.

Against Belgium (Monday, 6 p.m.), Kylian Mbappé could therefore wear a new mask if we rely on the latest publication from the France team. This new mask really fits the shape of your face and doesn’t seem to let air through unlike the previous one. More stuck to the face, it should also be less annoying for the Blues attacker since it should not move (or barely). Mbappé will still have the opportunity to test this new version before Monday but we should in any case see him with a different mask from Poland against Belgium.
