The major works will wait a little longer at the Standard, even if things are starting to accelerate behind the scenes. On the other hand, a member of Ivan Leko’s staff is leaving Number 16.

Standard supporters will still have to wait before possibly hearing good news about the future of their club.

As we know, it is during the week that the bank in charge of setting up a “data room” for prospective buyers will finally open it, allowing them to move up a gear (read here).

Until clarity becomes clear on this front, we expect there to be little movement, except perhaps outward. This is the case within the staff. Sudinfo we learn this Monday that Standard has separated from Leo Djaouifitness trainer.

Djaoui arrived in 2021 under Luka Elsner, and then joined the staffs of Ronny Deila, Carl Hoefkens then Ivan Leko. But it is the latter who would have liked to rebuild his staff to better prepare for the coming season, and will therefore bring his own physical trainer.

Bertrand Vandenbulck (doctor) Ludovic Depretter and Julien Detaille (physiotherapists) were also dismissed earlier this summer. Maxime Crosset then also left the club. So almost the entire Rouche medical staff left.
