Okay, the competitions of the French mixed doubles championship and the Marseillaise have, this last weekend, diverted several “big guns” faithful to the Supranational of Mende. Nevertheless, it is still a good (and beautiful) overall assessment that the Aveyronnais brought back from the big Lozère event. Two triplets in the quarter-finals of the Supranational Open, a doublet in the semi-finals of the Women’s National: it is not every day that Rouergats and Rouergates perform like this.
After a discreet championship campaign, Villefranchois Laurent Vialard and Julien Guilhem associated with the solid Capdenacois Thierry Férès and Espalionnais Samuel Santos, Dorian Théry and Florent Mallet reminded everyone of their good memories by confirming their verve in the Nationals.

And what about Laure Le Grelle-Védrines! Winner several times with Anne Gélis, in recent years on the Vernède site, the Rieupeyrousaine has once again distinguished herself in Gévaudan. With the excellent Primauboise Nathalie Arlabosse, she made it to the semi-finals where they lost by a hair’s breadth (13 to 11) against Castraises Elodie Torrecillas and Océane Lovatel. “As for all players, there are grounds like that which suit us. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the one in Mende because, I think, I particularly like it.” Castonétoises Jennifer Vaysset and Corinnes Salesses and Villefranchoises Christelle Sauzeau and Nicole Stimbach completed the table by reaching the quarter-finals.
