Biarritz, which obtained its continuation against the Rugby Regulatory Authority this Tuesday, begins its recruitment for the next financial year. Former Toulouse and Brivista Arthur Bonneval has signed with the Basque club until 2026.

Biarritz Olympique can finally look towards the 2024-2025 financial year. After a long period of instability, the Biarrots were able to breathe, they are finally fixed on their future. Maintained in Pro D2 thanks to the decision of the Rugby Regulatory Authority, managers can now turn to recruiting their workforce.

After the announcement of Piula Faasalele during the press conference aimed at presenting the project of the club’s new management, it was another Toulouse resident who officially signed up with the Rouges et Blancs. Indeed, winger Arthur Bonneval has signed a contract for the next two seasons with the Biarrots. “Arthur comes with a lot of high-level experience. We know that we can count on him to be rigorous, with his competitive mindset. He knows what it’s like to win titles, so his mental strength remains important” mentioned Biarritz coach Boris Bouhraoua, in the club press release.

The winger remains on a season with four tries in 22 matches with CA Brive. He arrives with the ambition of restoring the image of the Basque club. “It is a legendary French rugby club. When I was young, I watched the big matches between Toulouse and the BO. I’m proud to come and play in Aguilera“, proclaimed the ex-Briviste on the club website. At 29 years old, Arthur Bonneval is taking on a third challenge in his career.
