Italy and Bosnia will face each other on Sunday in a friendly match. The latest information here.

This is the final stretch before the start of Euro 2024. All the nations involved in the competition are playing test matches before flying to Germany where the kick-off will be given on June 14. This is the case of Italy which challenges Bosnia-Herzegovina in a friendly match this Sunday.

Italy must gain confidence against Bosnia before the Euro

Reigning European champion, Italy wishes to retain its crown this summer. With a new generation of players led by Luciano Spalletti, the Squadra Azzurra intends to win a second continental trophy in a row. Italy therefore uses the friendly matches to make the final adjustments within its team before leaving for Germany. Held in check by Turkey last Tuesday (0-0), the Nazionale will have to pull out all the stops against Bosnia this Sunday. This last test match is an opportunity for Luciano Spalletti to finally have a typical team before Italy’s first match at the Euro against Albania, on June 15.

For its part, Bosnia-Herzegovina will not be at the Euro. But Edin Dzeko will want to reassure himself after their defeat last Sunday against England (3-0). The Bosnians are also taking advantage of these friendly matches to prepare for the next events, in particular the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. In any case, Bosnia will certainly not give Italy any gifts this Sunday.
