The 3rd Employment and Entrepreneurship Forum opened its doors this Wednesday, November 13 in Casablanca, under the leadership of the Aïn Chock district prefecture. This forum, which will take place until mid-November as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), aims to stimulate innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit of young people, while promoting the social economy and united.
From the opening, Mounir Hammou, governor of the district prefecture of Aïn Chock, recalled the ambitions of the forum: to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture among young people and encourage innovation in sectors with high potential. He specified that this objective is based on sustained support for the creation of a new generation of micro-enterprises, capable of generating income.
As part of the strategic vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to make Morocco a regional digital hub through the “Maroc Digital 2030” strategy, the district prefecture of Aïn Chock is committed to creating a center of reception dedicated to digital projects. It also encourages partner associations to offer training in the professions of the future favored by the digital boom, such as robotics, digital telecommunications and content creation.

For her part, Hind Hanine, head of the social action division of the prefecture, welcomed the results of the first two editions of the forum. She underlined the importance of strengthened partnerships with public and private companies, research firms and experts, which have enabled the creation of businesses and promoted the integration of young people into the job market. In a statement to MAP, she recalled the significant impact of the INDH between 2019 and 2024, in particular with the creation of six platforms for young people and several support centers dedicated to women and young people in difficult situations or even a center of innovation.
To date, 288 entrepreneurial projects have seen the light of day thanks to funding of nearly 16.4 million dirhams (MDH) from the INDH. In addition, 1,707 job seekers were supported, of whom 530 found a job and 262 benefited from internships. In partnership with various training and integration players, 13 projects were carried out at a cost of 3.6 million dirhams. The forum also enabled the realization of 31 projects in the field of the social and solidarity economy, supported by funding of 4.9 million dirhams from the INDH.
For three days, this forum brings together experts from public establishments, universities, colleges, as well as companies and research firms. A show dedicated to the INDH’s new generation projects will enrich the program of this event.
