This Friday morning, after the dissipation of any gray weather, the weather will initially be sunny, announces the IRM in its latest bulletin.

During the day, clouds will develop in the interior and may be accompanied by some small local showers, mainly in the north of the country. The coastline will initially have a few cloudy areas and then more sunshine.

The maxima will be between 16°C at the coast as well as on the heights of the Ardennes and 18 or 19 degrees elsewhere, under a wind initially weak from the southwest then often moderate from the west. At the Coast, it will become moderate from west to northwest.

In the evening and during the night, the weather will initially be calm or partly cloudy. Towards dawn, the sky will become cloudy from the coast where a few drops will be possible. The minimums will vary around 5°C in the upper Ardennes, or even less in certain valleys, 7 or 8°C in the center and 10 or 11°C by the sea.

A sunny weekend ahead

On Saturday, the sky will cloud up quickly from the northwest with a risk of a few drops. South of the Sambre et Meuse furrow, the weather will still be sunny at first then during the day, more clouds will be present but the weather will generally remain dry. In Belgian Lorraine, the sun should shine all day. The maximums will be close to 16 degrees at the sea as well as in Hautes-Fagnes, 18 degrees in the center of the country and 19 degrees in Belgian Lorraine. The moderate west to southwest wind will shift to the west to northwest sector.

Sunday morning, some fog or low clouds may be present locally. In many places it will be sunny. Subsequently, the cloudiness will increase, as will the risk of a few drops on the Ardennes terrain. The maximums will vary from 15 degrees at the sea and in Hautes-Fagnes to 18 degrees in the center as well as in Belgian Lorraine. The weak and variable wind will generally become moderate from the northwest.
