Around fifteen people from the twinning committees of South Finistère met on Saturday January 18, 2025, at the Hofgeismar hall, in Pont-Aven. From Cap-Sizun, Douarnenez, Quimper, Concarneau, Moëlan-sur-Mer and Fouesnant, all appreciated the very constructive exchanges and were able to present their different associations to Madam the honorary consul of Germany, Armelle Maltey, who came from Brest for this occasion.
Germany Day
It must be said that the Pont-Aven twinning committee is thus opening the festivities for Germany Day which will take place this Wednesday, January 22. Travel, creation of a choir, meals, exchanges between young people, festù-noz, exhibitions, theater, films, welcoming interns, Christmas market, bike raid, Stammtisch, German lessons, are all projects that the committees share across the department. Those present noted that without municipal will and dynamic elected officials, unfortunately nothing was possible. A call for volunteers and members is also launched.
