Elie Bacari broke the Belgian record in the 60m hurdles at the Luxembourg indoor athletics meeting on Sunday, counting for the World Athletics Indoor Tour.
The 21-year-old Louvaniste clocked a time of 7.51 in the heats to erase Michael Obasuyi’s time of 7.54 set last year, on February 18 in Louvain-la-Neuve.
Elie Bacari had a personal best of 7.58 before his trip to the Grand Duchy.
