Saturday January 18, around 11 p.m., road users traveling on the RN 31 witnessed a particularly dangerous scene. In the Beauvais/Clermont direction, a motorist was driving in the wrong direction, causing astonishment and concern among other drivers.
On social media, several witnesses shared their experiences, describing fast and reckless driving.
Rapid intervention by law enforcement for this wrong-way driver
According to our information, the reckless motorist was intercepted in time by the Clermont gendarmerie. Thanks to their rapid intervention, no accidents were reported.
-Although this incident caused great concern among motorists, it fortunately ended without drama. More fear than harm, but this event reminds us of the importance of remaining vigilant on the roads, especially at night.
