Miss Martinique, Angélique Angarni-Filopon was the oldest candidate in the history of the competition. This 34-year-old flight attendant made history by winning it on December 15. She thus succeeded Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024 and Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2023.
This year, the candidate from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Sabah Aib, was also the victim of cyberharassment and a “wave of racist hatred” on social networks. A report to the Interministerial Delegation for the fight against racism, anti-Semitism and anti-LGBT hatred (Dilcrah) was then made by Othman Nasrou, Secretary of State in charge of Citizenship and the Fight against discrimination.
