In Paris, the year 2025 will be marked by new major cultural events. From the expected return of an emblematic monument to a gigantic artistic project, discover the four highlights that will make Paris vibrate in 2025.
The reopening of the towers of Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral
Although Notre-Dame de Paris reopened its doors to the public on December 8, its construction is not yet completely finished. From summer 2025 it will again be possible to climb the towersto admire the gargoyles but also a breathtaking view of Paris.
The new tour route also provides viewpoints on the reconstructed spire and framework.

The move of the Cartier Foundation
Currently installed on Boulevard Raspail, the Cartier Foundation will pack its boxes at the end of 2025 to migrate to the heart of Paris2 place du Palais Royal, a stone's throw from the Louvre museum, in a new location designed by architect Jean Nouvel.
The end of the Grand Palais construction site and the reopening of the Palais de la Découverte
In March 2021, the Grand Palais closed its doors for a vast restoration and restructuring project. Since the summer of 2024, for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Nave has been welcoming the public again but work continues on Avenue Winston Churchill.
In the spring of 2025, the work will be completed and will allow us to rediscover the Grand Palais in a completely different configuration.. Brighter, with new exhibition spaces, it will once again host the completely reinvented Palais de la Découverte.

The Pont Neuf Project
40 years ago, from September 22 to October 5, 1985, Christo and Jeann-Claude wrapped the Pont Neuf in 41,800m2 of fabric! An event that left its mark on the minds of all those who were able to attend.
On the occasion of this 40th anniversary, the artist JR in collaboration with the Christo and Jeanne-Claude Foundation imagined Project Pont-Neuf : the transformation of the Pont Neuf into a cave! Scheduled for September 2025, this unique project will allow visitors to admire this cave day and night.
