Departing at 6:39 a.m., a flight from Marrakech was unable to land at Tours-Val de Loire airport. The plane, a Boeing 738 from the Ryanair company, was able to descend and “pierce the cloud ceiling”, but “after several turns, the pilot went around”, explains to The New Republic Romain, a passenger on board.

The aircraft finally took the direction of Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme). It landed safely around 10:15 a.m., but an hour later, the passengers were still inside because they were not allowed to leave the tarmac, reports the Tourangeau returning from a few days in Morocco.

At Tours airport, some 200 people were due to fly to Marrakech at 9:50 a.m. But until 11:30 a.m., there was no sign of takeoff. They had to wait in the departure lounge hoping to be able to take off around 12:30 p.m. An unpleasant situation for the passengers.
