New Year's Eve night was a little hot in Saône et Loire. Our photos and video at Le Creusot.
Although we are far from the number of cars set on fire in Alsace, particularly for several days, the night of December 31, 2024 to January 1, 2025 was however marked by arson in Saône-et-Loire.
The evening began with trash fires at Place Maréchal Leclerc in Digoin before 8 p.m.…. Around 9:40 p.m. it was at Mont Saint-Vincent, but yes, that the firefighters were called for trash fires, at Champ Regnault.
Shortly after midnight, a first car fire mobilized firefighters in Mâcon. Around 12:40 a.m., it was at the 8 Mai intersection in Le Creusot, on the border with Torcy, that garbage containers were set on fire under the sledgehammer, the emblem of the town…
Around 2:15 a.m., firefighters were called to fires on public roads in Plottes near Tournus. Around 2:45 a.m., another car fire, rue Ambroise Croizat in Mâcon, then shortly after 3 a.m., still in Mâcon, a fire on the public highway. Finally at 5:30 a.m., firefighters were called to a car garage, in a car garage, route d'Arnay le Duc, with several vehicles engulfed in flames.
