The first round of the legislative elections took place this Sunday. Which candidates came out on top in Grenoble, Bourgoin-Jallieu or Vienna? Who will face each other in the second round on July 7? Find all the results, constituency by constituency, live in this article from 8 p.m.

After the vote, it’s time for the first results. Voters went to the polls on Sunday, June 30, for the first round of early legislative elections. Following the dissolution of the National Assembly by Emmanuel Macron, ten seats are at stake in Isère.

In the previous legislative elections, in 2022, four of the elected deputies represented the presidential majority (Ensemble), four of them were members of Nupes, one was from the Les Républicains party and one, newly elected, from the National Rally.

1st district

The first constituency of Isère includes a whole part of Grenoble, but also the cantons of Meylan and Saint-Ismier, near the capital of the Alps. The outgoing deputy is Olivier Véran (Renaissance), replaced for a time by his deputies when he was Minister of Health or government spokesperson until last January.

2nd district

The second constituency of Isère extends over the cantons of the communes of Echirolles, Saint-Martin-d’Hères, Eybens and Vizille. The outgoing MP is Cyrielle Chatelain (EELV), who was president of the environmental group in the National Assembly.

The fourth constituency of Isère extends over the entire south of the department. It is, in terms of surface area, the largest in Isère. It includes the cantons of Bourg-d’Oisans, Clelles, Corps, Fontaine-Seyssinet, Mens, Monestier-de-Clermont, La Mure, Valbonnais, Vif and Villard-de-Lans. The outgoing MP is Marie-Noëlle Battistel (PS).

The fifth constituency extends over the Chartreuse massif, part of that of Belledonne as well as in Grésivaudan. It includes the cantons of Allevard, Domène, Goncellin, Saint-Egrève, Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine, Saint-Laurent-du-Pont and Touvet. The outgoing deputy is Jérémie Iordanoff (EELV).

The sixth constituency forms a triangle in the north of Isère including the cantons of Bourgoin-Jallieu-Nord, Crémieu, Morestel and Pont-de-Chéruy. The outgoing deputy is Alexis Jolly (RN).

The cantons are those of Beaurepaire, La Côte-Saint-André, Grand-Lemps, Roussillon, Roybon, Saint-Etienne-de-Saint-Geoirs, Saint-Jean-de-Bournay and Virieu. The outgoing MP is Yannick Neuder (Les Républicains).
