This Monday, July 1, a new restaurant called Pastr’amis will open its doors at 31 boulevard de Bury, on the location of the former Turquoise kebab. This restaurant will offer a very specific culinary specialty: pastrami, a beef smoked and cooked at low temperature, prized for its unique flavor.

According to La Charente Libre, the meat comes from the Saint-Exupéry butcher shop located in Soyaux, and is certified halal. The manager, Kévin Allano, 32, wants to attract a diverse clientele. “It’s halal because I want to reach all communities”he explains. Allano, who has acquired solid experience working in various establishments in Angoulême, is embarking on this new adventure with enthusiasm.

Decoration Inspired by American Culture

The interior of Pastr’amis reflects an American atmosphere, decorated with graphics representing rap icons 2Pac and Biggie. These works of art were created by Asphalt Graffiti, a renowned artist from Charente. The friendly and modern atmosphere promises to attract a varied clientele.
