The association Note de passage was born from the collaboration between professional musician artists, mainly professors in conservatories and music schools. All wish to transmit their taste for art to a wide audience. The artist-speakers, organized in a collective, have experience with children in music schools, primary schools and colleges, as well as in heritage sites. They are committed to creating multidisciplinary events combining music with theater, painting, etc. The musicians play a repertoire of varied styles from medieval to contemporary creations, with the particularity of playing each musical style on copies of period instruments.
The association has been in residence at the Atelier Traverse since July 2023, and regularly organizes cultural events there: workshops, courses, conferences, concerts and exhibitions, around the theme of Medieval Recreations. The venue is located 10 minutes walk from the SNCF train station and one minute from the beach where parking is free.
