The only RN MP from Isère until these new legislative elections in 2024, Alexis Jolly was once again acclaimed in his sixth constituency in Isère. He received 47.55% of the votes. “We are bearers of hope, things are going to change radically and clearly the French want this change that we embody,” reacts Alexis Jolly on France 3 Alpes. During this first round, he was well ahead of Yaqine Di Spigno of the New Popular Front (20.85%) and the candidate of the presidential majority Cendra Motin (17.46%).

Motin: “I feel bad for my France”

Cendra Motin reacted this Sunday evening on France Bleu Isère: “I am proud to have defended my values. I feel bad for my France today. I do not share any of the values ​​of the RN. I will continue to fight.” She will not be in the second round.

The RN in the lead in five constituencies

The National Rally comes out on top in five of the ten constituencies in Isère on the evening of the first round of the legislative elections: in the sixth (Alexis Jolly), in the seventh (Benoit Auguste), in the eighth (Hanane Mansouri), in the ninth (Cécile Bene) and in the tenth (Thierry Perez). These five constituencies correspond to the northern half of the department.
