Police officers from the South station of the MRC des Laurentides, under the Level 1 drug coordination of the North Shore Organized Crime Investigation Division, carried out two searches and an arrest in narcotics matters on June 26 in Sainte -Agathe-des-Monts.

The search targeted a vehicle and a chalet on rue du Domaine, in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. During this operation, police seized cocaine, crack cocaine, GHB, contraband cigarettes and an amount of money.
Arrest
At the scene, a 57-year-old woman was arrested and later released. She will have to return to court at a later date, at the Saint-Jérôme courthouse where she could face drug charges and violations related to the tobacco and tax laws.
The operation stems from an investigation initiated following information received from the public.
