Prolix writer of Saint-Quay-Portrieux (Côtes-d’Armor), Christian Le Bour has just been published by Astoure Edition, its 5e Detective story : Ménage à quatre, the 5th element.

The menage a 4 shatters

The story ? In Rennes, the wealthy Eva and the talented financial advisor Raphaël form a free couple. She has taken Paul as her lover, while he regularly joins Isabelle in her villa outside the city. The balance of this ménage à 4 is shattered when Eva is found murdered.

Between money-hungry heirs, hidden children, and disgruntled mafia clients, the affair turns out to be complex. Helped by journalist Bruno Van Nuys, recurring hero of Christian Le Bour’s books, will Charlotte manage to solve the enigma?

Dedication on July 7th

I write two detective novels a year. I’m catching up because I’ve only been writing since I retired. I have accumulated so many stories to tell that I have a whole stockpile of them. I hope readers are ready to follow the Bruno Van Nuys investigations for a long time…

Christian Le Bour

So in the meantime his next book (which the author says may not be a detective novel but a more personal work), Christian Le Bour will dedicate his new book at the Maison de la Presse in Saint-Quay-Portrieux, Sunday July 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Ménage à quatre, the 5th element. 218 pages. €9. Available in Maisons de la Presse, cultural spaces, Amazon, etc.
