To celebrate the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Thai National Olympic Committee (CNOT) and the French Embassy in Thailand, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), the National Sports Development Fund of Thailand (NSDF), the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), the Foreign Trade Advisors of France (CCE) and their respective partners, are organizing an event on Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16, 2024, at Benchakitti Park, Bangkok. unique: “Olympic Day 2024 – On the road to Paris 2024” under the slogan “Together, For A Better World”.

Saturday June 15, an exceptional free day, open to all without prior registration will allow an audience of all ages to discover the universal values of sport and Olympism, through sports demonstrations (Breaking, BMX, boxing, Muay-Thai and sailing) as well as several sports competition such as 3×3 basketball, badminton, table tennis, futsal, pickleball and balance bike at the Benchakitti Park sports center.

At the end of the day, for celebrate the Music Festivalof the free outdoor concerts will be given on the stages of the amphitheater and on the edge of the lake in Benchakitti Park. During these exceptional concerts, many renowned Thai and French artists will perform, such as the Thai rock group Paper Planes having enjoyed immense success with her song Bad Boy, the Thai singer Ally Achiraya Nitibhon, the French group of four DJs from Nantes C2C, the DJ T-SIA.

Sunday June 16 a major race “Olympic Day Walk-Run 2024” will be held, whose departure and arrival will take place at Benchakitti Park. Two courses, with a registration fee of 380 baht, are offered for the occasion: a 4.8 km “Fun-Run” (bib without chip) and a 10 km mini-marathon (bib with chip). The registration period is open between April 30 and May 30, 2024. Jerseys and bibs can be collected on Saturday June 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Benchakitti Park sports center.
