The Lorient Océans festival has been in full swing since Thursday 27 and until Sunday 30 June 2024 in the harbour! On the programme for these maritime festivals at La Base: paddle and sailing initiations, an inflatable galleon and boat masts for children to climb, concerts all day long… Not forgetting the two highlights of the festival: the Louane concert on Saturday evening and the maritime parade on Sunday from 2 p.m. There are still places for the concert (€42) and the parade will be visible free of charge from the coast of all the towns in the harbour.

The whole harbor will be celebrating this weekend and it won’t just be for the boats! The Les Pieds dans la vase festival begins this Friday, June 28, at 7 p.m., at the Kervignac sports complex, for two days of free concerts. Eleven groups with a varied musical palette are scheduled: rock, groove, blues, hip-hop with Maggy Bole, The Allergies, Power Solo, Da Break… Les Pieds dans la vase welcomed 9,000 spectators in 2023.

  • 3 Polignac Festival

    It is back in Guidel in a new form: The Potager Concerts replace this year the 7 Chapelles festival, which has been put on hold. No more concerts relocated to chapels, the meeting returns home to the Château de Kerbastic. This Saturday, June 29, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Lorient Conservatory will play classical, Florent Garcimore will offer slam poetry and the Jarry Brothers will revisit Queen and Elton John on piano-cello.

    Prices: adults, €10; 12 to 18 years, €5; under 12s: free.

  • 4 Festival de Kerhervy

    The final stretch for the Lanester amateur theatre festival, which ends this Sunday, June 30. Five plays will be performed this Friday and Saturday in front of the boat cemetery, including “Building” by the Quévenois Les Mêmpakap (Saturday, at 5:30 p.m.). At the same time, the public is invited to lead the investigation to identify the murderer of Agatha, whose body was discovered on the GR34: an “Olympic murder party” is offered Saturday, from 2 p.m. (free upon registration at [email protected]). Time for improvisation on Sunday! The GIGN of Guidel will take to the stage from 5 p.m. to close the festival with laughter.

    Prices: €5 to €9 per piece, €9 to €14 per day, €30 for a three-day pass.

  • 5 Festival Vietnam

    Journey into Vietnamese culture in Languidic! This Friday June 28 and Saturday June 29, 2024, the Vietnam festival introduces the country and its culture through a festive program, while raising funds to support four orphanages in Vietnam. Two hours of show around a sweet and savory meal are planned this Friday from 7 p.m., Jo-Huitel room. On Saturday, a puppet show “The Legend of Vietnamese Rice Cakes” will be performed at the media library at 10:45 a.m. At 2 p.m., unicorn dance and Vietnam-themed parade will take place in the city center.

Friday prices: €25 for the meal-show for adults, €15 for children aged 3 to 12 and free for children under 3. Show only: €10 for adults and €5 for children.
