Fake websites are now offering to reserve a place to visit Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral – closed since the April 2019 fire – as soon as it reopens, but this is a scam, reports Paris News .
Reopening in March 2024
The rector-archbishop of Notre-Dame de Paris himself recently confirmed that it was a “scam”. Tuesday June 25, 2024, a site manager reminded that reservations to visit the cathedral would only be possible the day before or two days before reopening. “We want to preserve the spontaneity of visitors”she clarified.

The reopening of Notre-Dame is scheduled for December 8, 2024. On this occasion, visitors will be able to enjoy festivities and special events. They will also discover all the new features that the cathedral has acquired, such as the new liturgical furniture, the new seats and the new reliquary.
