The day after the resounding announcement of the dissolution of The national assemblyoutgoing MP Marietta Karamanli announced that she would be a candidate again for the legislative elections.

Reviving housing, instituting real community policing, stopping class closures and placing emphasis on the training of doctors are among its other cardinal lines.
“We must listen to our fellow citizens: that’s how we have concrete solutions to carry fights,” she emphasizes. “Many people cannot find jobs, public services, doctors…”
“Blocking the far right”

Who are Marietta Karamanli and Yves-Marie Hervé?
Marietta Karamanli is 59 years old and has four children. She was elected as a member of parliament four times. In 2022, she obtained 63.06% of the votes against Angéline Furet, RN candidate.
Yves-Marie Hervé is mayor of Changé. He was already Marietta Karamanli’s deputy in 2022. Aged 61, he is director of a real estate company with a social vocation.

Yves-Marie Hervé hopes that the “capricious decision” of the President of the Republic “gives the chance to put the left back in power”.
