Marylise Léon, the national general secretary of the CFDT will be present on the occasion of the first edition of Printemps Vert, organized by the CFDT Tarn departmental union on Tuesday June 18 in Albi. The union wants to raise awareness among the general public and its activists “of the issues of just ecological transition”.

“Relaxation, discovery, sharing of experience…” This is what the CFDT-Tarn offers by organizing for the first time an awareness day on “the just ecological transition” called the Green Spring and which will take place Tuesday June 18 at Place du Forail du Castelviel, in Albi, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Green Spring will offer the people of Tarn the opportunity to talk about the climate and its consequences in our modes of consumption and production. specifies the union which invited for the occasion around forty local producers, craftsmen of eco-construction and sustainable mobility as well as associations working for an ecological approach.

Open to all, this event will take the form of interventions but also stands on the Castelvieil d’Albi fairground square, throughout the day.

A “Green Spring” under the sign of cycling

This first edition of Printemps Vert will be dedicated to cycling with a family ride of around ten kilometers organized by the association. “All by bike and on foot in Albigensian” which will leave from the place du foirail du Castelvieil at 10 a.m.

The day will be officially opened at 1:15 p.m. PHilippe Béco, general secretary, CFDT Tarn departmental union. Various personalities and organizations from Tarn and regional areas will be present to present the State’s actions in terms of ecological transition, hydrogen (Occitanie Region), waste recovery with Tryfil, the associative group (Pacte du Pouvoir de Vivre), the cooperative “ecot 81” (citizen energy west Tarn), the association “Another roof”, finally, the Peasant Confederation.

The general secretary of the CFDT, Marylise Léon will also be on site at the beginning of the afternoon and will come and meet the activists for an hour, behind closed doors.

The day will end with a concert by the group “Back to 80” from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
