Two men were arrested in recent days in Toulouse. Violent, they put their companions through an ordeal.
At the start of summer, a 29-year-old woman passed through the doors of the police station to describe the ordeal she is experiencing with her partner. Since November, the latter has suffered regular violence.
The man spares him nothing. He slaps her, beats her, does not hesitate to bite her, but also to strangle her. Examined by a forensic doctor, she was prescribed a significant period of total work interruption.
On Friday, the police went to get her partner, 24, from his home. Placed in police custody, he was asked to explain himself. He largely minimized the facts that witnesses nevertheless corroborated.
A handgun
He should be judged very quickly by the criminal court, just like a 31-year-old man, also prosecuted for domestic violence in Toulouse. The latter’s wife filed a first complaint on August 6, 2023.
She then explained that he punched her on the body and pulled her hair. The investigation began and, on June 21, the victim reported to the police. She again described physical violence, but also death threats.
She indicated that her companion was also in possession of a weapon. He was arrested at his home. The search uncovered a handgun and ammunition. Placed in police custody, this 31-year-old man also minimized the violence against his 27-year-old victim.
